The feminine side of Gilchrist!

One of the reasons for the Australian inability to make serious inroads into the Indian top order, and have five-for instead of three-for by yesterday's play, was the failure of Gilchrist to perform with gloves the way he usually does.

So someone jokingly asked Michael Slater if Gilchrist was missing his pink gloves! (Gilchrist had snared eight batsmen with the pink one at Melbourne)

Slater gave a hearty laugh and said it looked like so. And added that by not wearing pink gloves, Gilly is probably missing his feminine side today.

We are seeing Gilchrist in his green gloves once again! Even if he heard the advice, he would not like to take them from Slater for obvious reasons.

The new ball is due in two-three overs from now. And there are chances the Gilly will get few more opportunities to prove Slater wrong.
